Thank you for shopping at Globalnestes! Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
FREE SHIPPING ON $49.5 OR MORE: Qualifying purchases** must total $49.5 or more in products. Items listed as excluded will incur additional shipping costs. Offer not valid in Hawaii or Alaska. Offer is available for items that can be purchased through this website.
*Pond Liner and items with an oversized items that ship Freight are excluded from this offer.
*Live Koi fish must be sent via overnight and will incur a $37.5 fee
*All Live Plant & Snail orders incur a flat $8 express shipping charge if under $49.5 or $10 express shipping charge if under $24.5 We do offer free shipping on Live goods. However, the total value of the live goods in the order must meet or exceed $49.5
Example 1: you purchase cattails, Hyacinth and Water Hawthorne for $35 and you add a replacement UV bulb for another $25, meaning your total order is >$99 but the live good portion of the order is <$99. In this instance you will NOT qualify for free shipping as the live good portion of the order is still <$99.
Example 2: you purchase cattails, Hyacinth and Water Hawthorne for $50 and a UV for another $25 In this instance, since the live good portion of your order is >$99 and your total order is >$99, then your whole order will ship free.
Example 3: you purchase a small standard pond pump for $50 that doesn't require freight, this ships free.
STANDARD PROCESSING TIME: We know how important it is to receive your items fast and try our absolute best to process orders same or next business day. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. That said, If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
RUSH PROCESSING TIME: If you have a rush order that you are trying to get out, please contact us and let us know and we will do everything in our power to prioritize your order to the top of the list. Call 206.350.2145 or email [email protected].
SHIPPING LIVE PLANTS, LIVE FISH, AND SNAILS: Live goods are shipped Monday-Wednesday ONLY and no matter what option you choose at delivery. Why? This is with your best interest in mind. We want to avoid unnecessary delays that may occur over weekends.
SHIPPING RATES & DELIVERY ESTIMATES: All Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We have several options available:
In-Store Pickup: includes any item in the store. Special order items may be subject to additional expense.
Freight: Cost varies based on availability and weight. Please contact us for a custom quote. We do not upcharge for quotes and will work to get you the best rate. If shipping by UPS Freight, an optional liftgate is available for purchase ($75 extra).
International & Expedited Shipping: 1-3 business days. Many options available. Calculated at checkout.
As with any company’s policies, Delivery delays can occasionally occur.
SHIPMENT TO PO BOXES or APO/FPO ADDRESSES: Globalnestes ships to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
SHIPMENT CONFIRMATION & ORDER TRACKING: You will be emailed a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. We also offer regular shipping updates through Facebook Messenger as requested during checkout.
CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES: Globalnestes is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
DAMAGES: Globalnestes is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. Please contact us before if you’d like to add insurance to your shipment. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipping carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
International Shipping Policy
UNABLE TO DELIVER AS ADDRESSED/FAILURE TO DELIVER: Any items returned to us “unable to be delivered as addressed” when the label matches what we were provided when ordering will have our original shipping costs, plus return shipping costs deducted from the refund. Reshipment will require payment of both the initial shipment, return shipment, and new shipment fees (shipping one way, three times). This could be due to the service used not delivering to that location or a bad address from a customer. Please be sure to check with your customers prior to placing the order to avoid such a mishap.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: While we primarily ship within the USA, we do ship internationally on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you have international shipping needs for a custom quote. We leverage DHL which requires a signature for all International shipments. For international shipments, All local regulations, Fees, Taxes, and/or fines are the sole responsibility of the buyer and not Globalnestes. We are not able to fulfill orders shipping through a Freight Forwarding service without prior discussion and approval.
